About the Arnyek Islands
The Arnyek Islands were the home realm of the Kytinn, a race of humanoid insect beings with a hive-mind mentality and treacherous nature. It was due to constant bickering and in-fighting among the Kytinn that led to Arnyek being eventually conquered and merged to Outworld by its emperor, Shao Kahn. The island homes of the Kytinn were then annexed, with only D'Vorah choosing to submit to Shao Kahn's rule. The remaining Kytinn eventually created a new Hive to live in on the edges of Outworld, only for it to be burned by Shao Kahn at a later date due to their refusal to submit to his rule.
